Under-the-stairs Pantry

We often get questions about small, awkward spaces in old homes. We can transform under-utilized closets to maximize storage space and allow these formally chaotic areas to shine.

This home was over 100 years old, and had a pantry under the stairs that had shelves which were too deep and they housed layers of toys and games, food, and appliances.

After turning the shelves to use the depth of the space properly, the pantry became a small walk-in closet that adds value to the kitchen and a more stream-lined flow to dinnertime.

Now, all the food items can be seen and used in a timely fashion, and the kids have a toy nook to put everything back where they belong!
